EARLY LEARNING CENTER
INVENTION MUSEUM
June 2024
The ELC explored inventions throughout the school year culminating in an Invention Museum. The inventions were original creations by each child based on engineering design process and using recycle materials. Each class had a different focus: The Me 2 Class created aquariums, The Moonbeams created musical instruments, The Comets created modes of transportation and the Allstars created cameras and explored photography. Mitzvah Garden

This spring, our garden club has been busy working and planting herbs and vegetables in planters on our back patio. This past Sunday, May 19, they donated their first harvest to the Newton Food Pantry. They will continue to donate through the growing season.
Teen Montréal Trip
May 2024
Our teens, under direction of Eva Willard-Bauer and Alexa Weintraub, were busy in Montréal over the May 17 - 20, 2024, weekend where they explored many neighborhoods of the bustling city! They visited the Biodome, the Ferris wheel, the museum of illusions, a provocative exhibit at the Jewish Museum and so much more! Through a self-guided Jewish food tour around Mile End, a scavenger hunt around the Old Port, and penguin feedings at the Biodome they explored every must-see sight of Montréal. From a rooftop Havdalah service at the hotel to delicious meals at Montreal hot spots, they were well fed in mind, body, and soul.
